Uncle Sam
Ol’ Sam wasn’t much to look at, scruffy beard, worn boots, a suitcase full of empty promises, and a crooked smile you wanted to believe.
He showed up while we were workin’ the fields, said he was hungry, tired, and just needed a little help gettin’ back on his feet.
Well, us bein’ good Christian folks, we let him in. We fed him, clothed him, gave him a roof over his head and a seat at the table. He became part of the family. Even the dog started waggin’ his tail when he would see him coming and started callin’ him “Uncle Sam”.
At first, ol’ Sam said all the right things. Since we helped him get back on his feet, he promised he’d help us in return. Said he’d protect the house, help with the farm, and make life easier all around. He even signed a little agreement, just to show us he was serious. We figured if he pulled his weight and lived by our rules, he could stay.
But over time, Sam got lazy. Real lazy. He stopped working, stopped helping. Started bossin’ us around instead of pitching in. He made up new rules for the household — ones we never asked for. He started eating more and leaving less for the rest of us. Took the king-size bed, made us sleep on the pull-out.
To make it even worst, he started selling our harvest at market without asking, pocketing the money like it was his. When we confronted him, he just grinned and said,
“Trust me. I’m doing this to protect you.”
Well, at this point, we had enough. So we explained to him that the agreement that he had signed to be able to stay in our house was very clear and straightforward, and that if he went against what he agreed to at any point, we could kick him out of the house. But even after we explained this to him, he still would not leave us. Being just a small family, we could not do anything about it because Uncle Sam was a big dude. So we got some friends and neighbors involved to come over and help us throw Uncle Sam to the curb. Well, Uncle Sam turned on us like a Bruce Lee on steroids. He ended up beating our friends and neighbors almost to death and then he called the cops and told them that we were the ones responsible for the whole ordeal and had us arrested and thrown into prison. Now our friends and neighbors would not speak to us. We were outcasts. Now the home we built and the right that God gave us were all gone. Uncle Sam moved in permanently, took our house, took our farm, all our possessions, and claimed them as his own.
With all that being said, I'm sure someone is getting pretty angry now after reading that story. How could somebody do something like that? Well,It’s not exactly a true story, but unfortunately, it's something that goes on all the time every day, and people don't even see it.
Of course, in case you hadn't grasped the idea yet, but Uncle Sam is our government, the one we, the people, set up, and their purpose was to do the job that we didn't want to do: to protect us from foreign invaders on our sacred land, to have our best interests at heart, and their purpose was to protect and serve, mainly protect our God-given rights, which include life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness and let no one ever, anywhere, foreign or domestic, touch those God-given rights!
Who’s Uncle Sam?
I'm sure everybody has heard the term Uncle Sam. Whenever I hear that name, I think of the movie “This is the Army” with Ronald Reagan because they had a poster saying Uncle Sam wants you, and they were all excited about serving Uncle Sam, but where did the name Uncle Sam come from?
Are you ready for another rabbit trail? Of course, you are if you're reading this; you already know we're going down that road!
From the way I understand it, of course, I wasn't there, (even though I got gray hair) I’m still a young guy no matter what anybody says, but with that being said, we do know that not everything we hear and read is truth, but with all that aside, this is my understanding of it.
The name “Uncle Sam” goes way back to the War of 1812. A meatpacker named Samuel Wilson sent barrels of beef to the Army, stamped with “U.S.” for United States. The soldiers joked it stood for “Uncle Sam,” and the name stuck.
Later during World War I and II, they put Uncle Sam’s face on posters everywhere — with a top hat and a pointing finger, saying: "Uncle Sam wants you! "
And of course, this is what I remember seeing in “This is the Army”
Back in the day, folks proudly talked about serving Uncle Sam. And maybe it really was a noble thing back then, but even way back then, the trap had already been set. Uncle Sam looked like all he wanted to do was help us out, give us stuff, and be the great uncle we never had.
So now let's get into the nitty-gritty on how all this started or at least really started to explode. Who’s ready? Let's go!
The Great Depression and the Slow Invasion
After the Great Depression, people were desperate. And once again, Uncle Sam swooped in to save the day, promising great things to build back America, and we took the bait and believed him, without even knowing that he was responsible for the whole darn thing.
“We’ll take care of you. Just sign here.”
Social Security Numbers, Driver’s licenses, Welfare programs, Work permits, Food programs.
It looked like help, and it sounded really good, and especially with so many people struggling at the time, but in reality, it was just a hook with a big beautiful shiny bait, and unlike the fish that I find when I go fishing, they grabbed it hook, line, and sinker!
In fact, they snatched it so hard that they pulled the poles out of Uncle Sam's hand, and he wasn't even expecting it, so he said, “If they’re that excited, I’ll go ahead and grab some new bait and try again,” and so the scam began.
And if you thought that was the only bait we took, well….let me tell you about the biggest one of them all.
The Biggest Scam in US history
Back in 1913, Uncle Sam came to the people like a smooth-talking salesman during hard times and said,
“Don’t worry, it’s just a tiny tax on the rich to fund the war. Only 3%. It won’t touch you.”
And like honest, good-hearted folks, we said,
“Well, that sounds fair enough.” as long as it don’t effect us who cares, ain’t that just typical?
But that “little favor” turned into a permanent shackle.
In that same year two things were quietly pushed through: the 16th Amendment and the creation of the Federal Reserve.
One was a backdoor to permanent income taxation. The other was a private banking cartel that loans our own money back to us with interest.
And guess who pays that interest?
You. Me. Every working American they push this scam on.
We were told it was voluntary. We were told it was only for the rich.
But by World War II, they started withholding it directly from our paychecks — so you’d never even notice the theft.
And just like that, the trap snapped shut.
But here’s the kicker:
The U.S. Supreme Court has already ruled that taxing wages is unconstitutional unless it's equally apportioned among the states.
And that’s not just opinion — that’s law.
See, under the Constitution, there are only two types of taxes:
Direct taxes: which must be apportioned among the states
Indirect taxes: like excises and duties, which must be uniform across the country
And guess what?
There is no third kind.
The Supreme Court called these “the two great classes” and they didn’t include “whatever the IRS feels like.”
Now here’s the key that unlocks the whole thing:
The income tax, as it was originally framed, is an excise tax — which means it’s a tax on the exercise of a privilege granted by government.
In plain terms: if it’s something you have a right to do, it cannot be taxed period, but especially as a privilege.
So, is working for a living a privilege?
The courts say no:
“The property that every man has is his personal labor… the most sacred and inviolable.” — Butcher’s Union v. Crescent City
“The right to sell one’s labor is a natural right, not a privilege.” — Adair v. United States
“One’s labor is not taxable unless there is a privilege involved.” — Coppage v. Kansas
So let me say it loud:
Working is not a privilege. It's a right. And your labor cannot be taxed unless you're doing something under special government privilege like holding public office or operating under a federal or government license.
So how did they get around this?
They redefined words.
They manipulated forms.
They preyed on ignorance and fear.
You’ve probably filled out a W-4 form when you started a job — maybe without even thinking twice. But did you know that, by signing it, you're declaring (under penalty of perjury) that you're either:
a nonresident alien earning U.S. source income, or
a U.S. citizen living abroad with foreign income?
Why would an American citizen working a normal job in Georgia need to fill that out? well, You don’t, unless you’re volunteering for something that never applied to you in the first place.
And then they file a 1099 or a W-2, labeling your right to earn a living as “wages,” even though Congress defined “wages” as pay to government workers — not for private citizens in the 50 states.
It’s all a massive shell game.
The Form 1040? well folks, It was created to be used by “nonresident aliens”. Not you. Not me.
The IRS? Well, It was originally made to collect from foreign agents, corporations, and government employees, Now they harasses everyday Americans, while armed with AI surveillance and seizure power — for simply living and working on their own land.
Even the Supreme Court in Stanton v. Baltic Mining Co. said plainly:
“The 16th Amendment conferred no new power of taxation.”
And again in Peck v. Lowe: “The 16th Amendment does not extend the taxing power to new subjects.”
So if Congress didn’t gain any new power, where did this income tax monster come from? Deception. Plain and simple.
They used forms like the W-9 and W-4 to trick us into “volunteering.” They misapplied laws meant for nonresident aliens to American citizens.
And they bullied businesses into becoming unpaid IRS agents, even though most if not all never had the legal authority to withhold taxes in the first place.
This isn’t just unconstitutional, It’s a financial holdup masquerading as patriotism, It’s theft dressed up in red, white, and blue, It’s a violation of everything America was founded on.
Because let me remind you:
The government was created to protect our rights from foreign oppressors and tyranny, not to take our freedom and sell them back to us as a privilege.
If I need a license to fish in my backyard, ask permission to build on my land, get approval to travel or even speak freely, then I am not free. Like my favorite line ever “If you have to pay for something its to free” The truth is we are in chains. Chains we never voted for. Chains that were forged with paperwork and fear.
And if all that’s not enough to wake us up, just know this:
The IRS cannot lawfully assess or levy against you without your consent.
It only acts because you “volunteer” and then they bully, shame, or deceive you into doing so.
So what’s the solution?
Stop volunteering.
Know your God given rights and freedoms that only come from Him and can only be taken away by Him or by your free choice to give them up. Also learn the law that you think you know, understand and know their definitions. Stop handing them the rope they use to hang you.
Because in America, you’re innocent until proven guilty, well….unless you're dealing with the IRS, where you’re guilty unless you prove you're innocent.

It’s time to wake up, America! Because what they’ve taken from us isn’t just our money. It’s our freedom!
And yes, absolutely, all of this is a government that was set up by us, WE THE PEOPLE, for one purpose only, and that was to just protect our God-given rights that we were born with.
Understanding the Constitution
So let's clear this up because it seems like folks just don't understand this. The United States of America was founded on Christian principles. Not all founders were Christians. Some of them didn't even believe there was a Jesus, but all of them had agreed on Christian principles and the moral law of God. The reason America started was because they were oppressed and taxed to no end, and they wanted to be free!
They started out by declaring their independence for them and for us. That’s what July 4 is all about: Independence Day. People celebrate this every year, and they have absolutely no freaking clue what it's about.
After that, they wrote up the Constitution. And this Constitution does not give us our rights as Americans. This Constitution declares that God gives us our rights. And the government cannot infringe on that. They set up the government to protect our God-given rights and also to protect our great nation from foreign oppression. They were supposed to run things efficiently, make everything smooth, get us what we need, take care of us, let everyone work together for the greater good, and glorify our Father in Heaven in the process.
The Declaration of Independence says it loud and clear:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.”
Just to make this clear these are not rights from government, These are rights from God Himself, the Great I AM.
The government’s job was simple: Protect those rights from any foreign invader or anyone trying to take these rights away or twist them in anyway.
Nothing more. Nothing less. But somehow and somewhere along the way, good ole Uncle Sam strayed far far away!
One Law Wrecks It All
The Bible says if you add even one law to the grace of Jesus Christ, you make His death on the Cross worthless.
“If righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.” (Galatians 2:21)
Same thing with freedom. If you add even one regulation to freedom, it’s not freedom anymore. If you add one license, one permit, one restriction to your God-given rights,
you tell every soldier, every forefather who fought for liberty that they fought and died for nothing! Just like adding a religious ceremony or religious rule to what Jesus did on the Cross you're telling him He did it all in vain.
I would never ever ever want to walk up to a soldier or one of the forefathers when we get to heaven and say “look I hate it for you but you died in vain.”
That would be absolutely devastating to do that to somebody, but imagine doing that face-to-face with Jesus Christ telling Him He died in vain, this ain't just Some dumb version of reality that ol’e Joe boy cooked up, this is the reality as we're living it today, and we need to freaking wake up and smell the roses!
Freedom is all — or it’s nothing.
Today, Uncle Sam’s got his feet on the table, his hand in our wallets, and his clipboard of rules thicker than Mount Everest. He taxes everything that moves. He licenses everything that breathes! He fines, regulates, restricts, and orders, all while calling it “for your own good, or for your safety"
But the truth is, the only thing Uncle Sam’s good at now is sneakily robbing free men of the freedom God gave them.
Y'all got this far and I'm really proud of you, that took a lot! But if you haven't finished your coffee just yet I have just a little bit more for you, and you might be wondering at this point what can we do? So here you go!
There’s only one way to be free again: Live your freedom every single day. Freedom in Jesus Christ, first and always. Because without Christ, there’s no freedom. Only slavery.
God himself came down in the human form He suffered and died on a cross like the worst of the worst criminals, but He did exactly what He said He would do and He rose again on the third day breaking the chains of death and the grave for each one of us that wants to reach out and grab the freedom that He's so graciously and selfishly gave us!
Just like God brought the Israelites into the Promised Land, He brought our forefathers into this land to live free, to worship Him without fear, to build without kings or tyrants breathing down their necks.
Freedom is nothing unless you take it and live it out, Jesus did all this for us on the cross and we can turn away from it and walk away from him and we do not have freedom, we can also look at Jesus on the Cross tell Him: “thank you, But His love is not quite enough I need to add some rules and religious practices to this and then I could see how you could make this possible.” Well….. at this point you still are chained even though freedom is at your fingertips, Jesus is not going to shove salvation down your throat, He's going to hand it to you with outstretch arms and He is there waiting for you anytime you want to grab and embrace it, but if you don't take it you won't be saved.
It's the same way in this great country, our forefathers fought for our freedom a lot of them bled and died for our freedom so we could live out our freedom every day without being oppressed by foreigners and government tyrant, they wrote out the constitution to guarantee us to be free from tyrant, God gave us each and every one of us when we were conceived life liberty and the pursuit of happiness, and we can live out this freedom every single day all we have to do is live free, it sounds too simple but it's just true, this freedom doesn't come from the government it comes from God and He is there waiting for us to live it free, if you go to the government and ask for freedom they will take your freedom gladly and in return do exactly what you ask for, and give you a privilege which you will be taxed on, and long story short then you are not free, I say there's so many times I turned blue in the face but if you have to pay for something it is not free, is that simple.
You can say well I want to follow all the laws that the government laid out for me and I want to call myself free again, freedom is no good for you if you do this because freedom means nothing to you, you are bound by chains and you like it……
You can say well I want to be free but I still think these are some good guidelines to follow so I'm going to follow these regulations and maybe those regulations will make me free to do what I want without worrying of me messing up something because I have these guidelines to follow.
Again we are doing just like we did with Jesus, if you add regulations if you add rules to freedom it's not free, if you add laws and regulations and religion to Jesus it's not a relationship with Jesus, so again your not free, if Jesus aint enough for you then you ain’t gonna be free, Jesus alone is free freedom!
I really hope by now you get the picture, if not there's really nothing else I can say but freedom must be lived out, freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom of work freedom to live without being regulated and charged.
This is all stuff that you can do on your own every single day, you don't need to wait around and see if uncle Sam will help you out or make it legal for you to be free, you have to be free on your own that's why it's called freedom!!!!!
Bottom line, I'll leave you with this here.
Freedom doesn’t come from man. It comes from the creator, Jesus Christ the Great I AM, Almighty God.
No Uncle Sam, no king, no politician can take what God has given you unless you hand it over.
Hold fast to Jesus Christ. Hold fast to truth. Which is Jesus Christ.
And when Uncle Sam comes knocking, stand tall and proud and say: “This house belongs to the Lord — not to you.”
